The Cowichan Craft Beer & Food Festival is more than just a great day, it’s a not-for-profit event created to showcase the best of the Cowichan Region. Presented by the Chemainus Business Improvement Association (CBIA), our goal isn’t to generate profits—it’s to generate a re-exploration of Cowichan and the town of Chemainus.

Your ticket does far more than provide access to an incredible day of craft beer, food, and entertainment. As a not-for-profit festival, every dollar helps create a safe, memorable, and high-quality experience.
Food & Beverage Tokens (31.6%)
The cost of what you eat and drink, we believe in paying our vendors for their food and beer!
Security, Safety & Administration (16.5%)
Professional security, first aid, licensing, insurance, permits, and the operational planning required to keep everyone safe. We also create dozens of jobs for people the day before, the day of, and day after.
Festival Infrastructure (11.6%)Fencing, tents, tables, power, sanitation, waste management, and all the behind-the-scenes elements that transform the park into a festival site. This includes almost a thousand pounds of ice!
Marketing, Signage & Promotion (11.5%)
Marketing efforts, signage, promotional costs, etc. Everything form website to back-end ticketing falls within here.
Glassware & Entry Packages (11.1%)
Your commemorative tasting glass, entry materials, wristbands, guest welcome packages, and pretty much anything you get to keep!
Operations, Set-Up & Tear-Down (9.8%)
The crews, equipment, delivery and logistics required before, during, and after the event.
Live Music & Entertainment (7.9%)
Supporting musicians and creating the festival atmosphere that makes the day unforgettable.
Every ticket purchased helps us create one of Vancouver Island’s premier craft beer festivals while showcasing the Cowichan Region to thousands of visitors each year.
